Working together for standards The Web Standards Project

Holly Marie Koltz

WaSP Steering Committee Member, Education Task Force Member

Holly Marie Koltz works with digital art and photography, web design, and education. Coming from a background of the arts and sciences she finds herself *at home* with digital media and communication. The renaissance life keeps her busy with technologies, creative arts, and more.

In recent years she has experience as a private and public alpha and beta tester of digital software applications, testing user interfaces and new features, making suggestions, hunting bugs and writing reports.

A long time standards advocate, Holly is passionate about helping others learn, understand, and use Web Guidelines, Standards, and Accessibility. Her recommendations are found in several courses of a local community college, where she held a seat on the Advisory Committee for the Multimedia Curriculum. She lectures on the topics of hypertext markup and web accessibility including a best practises course developed at a Chicago university. One of her duties at WaSP includes membership in the WaSP Education Task Force.

Active on several fronts, she finds time for art, gardening, photography, and her own design business, xVinci.

The Web Standards Project is a grassroots coalition fighting for standards which ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all.
