Jeremy Keith

Jeremy Keith is an Irish web developer living and working in Brighton, England.

Working with the web consultancy firm Clearleft, Jeremy enjoys building accessible, elegant websites using the troika of web standards: XHTML, CSS and the DOM. His online home is adactio.com, where he keeps his personal infocloud, Adactio Elsewhere.

Jeremy is the author of DOM Scripting: Web Design with JavaScript and the Document Object Model. As well as writing about JavaScript and the DOM, Jeremy gives regular training courses on the subject. He has also spoken at conferences such as @media (Using JavaScript for good, not evil), and South by SouthWest (How to bluff your way in CSS).

When he’s not building websites, Jeremy plays bouzouki in the alt.country band Salter Cane. He is also the creator and curator of one of the Web’s largest online communities dedicated to Irish traditional music, The Session.

Jeremy serves as joint leader of the DOM Scripting Task Force.

The Web Standards Project is a grassroots coalition fighting for standards which ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all.
